My Story
Its all about a dream...not a fantasy, but the dreams that I know that God has placed in my heart, the purposes He has laid out for me. Its about an opportunity. A tool to help make the dreams of my heart come true. Its about a little candle business that is changing my life every single day.
I joined Scentsy in April of 2013, with a desire to help bring in a little extra income to help meet needs for our family like new shoes or field trip expenses. You know, those things that no one really ever plans on, but that always come up. I was a wife, stay at home to my seven kiddos, and full time care giver for my mom who lived with us and was battling Parkinson's disease. My plate was full, but I needed something more. I needed something that I could call my own. Something that would get me out of the house, and provide me with friendships and a little extra income was an added benefit.
I had tried my hand at Direct Sales before, and failed and failed in a big way. But I knew there was something different about Scentsy. I knew I could do this, and do it well. When my husband came to me and told me how he saw that Scentsy was "saving us" one month, I knew I had found my home. My job. My career.
Since joining Scentsy, I have helped provide for our family financially. I have a successful business, and I have built a team of ladies who are some of my closest friends. I am most proud of being their biggest fan and cheer leader!
I have also been able to travel to places I never dreamed I'd go. Scentsy has taken me to Atlantis, in the Bahamas (for FREE!! Hello!!), St Louis, Las Vegas, Nashville, Kansas City, Anaheim and Disneyland for the very first time (Also for FREE), Austin and Salt Lake City! I have wanderlust now, thanks to Scentsy!
I have a dream of a forever home for our family. A dream of being able to say "Yes" to things in my life where I currently have to say "no". A dream of seeing a need in someone's life, and being able to meet it for them. A dream of showing others that with hard work and consistency, they can achieve their big, scary, crazy dreams too. I believe that God provided me a tool in Scentsy, to help me make these dreams come true.
